Other

My name is Markus Koffman, and I am a 24-year-old technology-loving student from Stockholm. I live with my family in an apartment on Kungsholmen. My family consists of my mother, father, and two younger brothers (aged 19 and 22). People often think of me as a person who is kind, nice, and easy to get to know. This is because I am a passionate person who always tries to see the good in people. Another reason is that I am often willing to help my family and friends with computer-related problems or other daily tasks.

I love gaming. I play and think about games every day when I am not studying. I usually play on my PC, and as a result, I have learned how to build and use a computer, as well as how to solve both simple and advanced problems. When I am not playing, I listen to pop music, follow the League of Legends esports scene, and watch YouTube. The YouTube clips I usually watch are often of people playing games, but every now and then I watch interesting videos about science, game design, new technology, or how things work, because I love technology.

Another thing I like is spending time with my friends. When we do not meet up we usually talk on Discord, that is because we enjoy communicating and gaming with each other. I always try to do my best, even if I do not enjoy the work. I enjoy it even more if my get to work with friends to discuss solutions and find different point of views.

Work Experience

8 Months (2025)

Internship

Gameplay Programmer
Ionized Game Design

At ION I worked on one of their bigger digital games in a professional setting. I got more used to Unreal Engine (C++) and learnt how different my previous school projects are from work. This is the first game I have worked that is going to be sold for money. I worked on a lot of programming tasks during my internship that taught me alot of diffrent areas like animation, sound system, UI, optimization and AI.

Education

2023 - 2025

Game Programmer (Specialization)
FutureGames Stockholm

At Future Games I made even more game projects with bigger teams than I have ever worked with. I got taught to use industry standard programs like Unreal Engine, Perforce and Jira. It also helped me find other people for continous growth of my network.

2020 - 2023

Bachelor's program in computer game development

Stockholm University DSV

At SU things got more serious and I learned much more about coding and other stuff related to game-development. For example SQL, ten pagers and different programming languages (C++, Java, Javascript). I also have learned how to optimize C# code and to communicate much better than i did at LBS.

2017 - 2020

Game development (Technology)
LBS Södra - Gymnasium

LBS (Ljud och Bildskolan) is where I started my game-development journey. Here I learned an understanding of C# and to work with different people to produce simple games. This is also where I got really passionate about game-development as a whole.

I have been involved in programming and game development for 9 years, through various school projects and work setting!
